Lumbini Bikas Bank has been an emerging name in the field of banking and financial sector of Nepal. It stands with 69 branches, 17 ATMs and 513 staffs providing wide range of services to more than 11,800 loan customers is the driving force of the bank.
It carries out banking and other financial activities under the license to commence banking operations as a ‘B’ Class financial institution from the Nepal Rastra Bank under the Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2073. The Bank’s shares are listed on Nepal Stock Exchange Limited.
It is an entity established with the merger of five Banks and Financial Institutions namely Bhajuratna Finance Ltd., Birgunj Finance Ltd., Himichuli Bikas Bank Ltd., Lumbini Finance and Leasing Co. Ltd. and Vibor Bikas Bank Ltd. The last merger of Vibor Society Development Bank and Lumbini Finance and Leasing took place on 25th Ashad 2074.
